Algea in Aquarium

Causes.

1. Lights left ON too long

2. Overfeeding. Excess food deposit in aquarium and eaten food increases phosphate level in water.

3. Overstocking of fish.

4. Direct sunlight towards aquarium.

5. Going to long between water changes.


Remedy.

1. Regulate light to 7-8 hours.

2. Change water.

3. Add Amano Shrimps,Octoclinus or Siamese algea eater

4. Remove algae by hand.

5. Use UV Filteration.

6. Use Anti-Algea medicines.

7. Use live plants, which absorbs nitrates.
