It is one of the aquarium plants smallest in the world. It was originally imported by Holger Windelov, who found it in a river bed in Cuba, west of Havana. Its delicate stems with small rounded to ovoid leaves have a growth rate very fast. When planted in small pieces a few centimeters apart, the plant will soon it will spread and form a consistent upholstered floor.
